Cougars Shutout North Clay
The Cougars rode the right arm of senior pitcher Tanner Bushue as he pitched a complete-game no-hitter in
their 3-0 win over the visiting North Clay Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon.
Bushue was two walks away from a perfect game and didn't allow either runner to advance past first base in
his 15 strikeout masterpiece.
Offensively, the Cougars cranked out 9 hits and were led by Ian King with a single, a double, and 2 RBI's.
Cole Armstrong, Dylan Sill, and Isaac Grapperhaus all added two hits apiece to add to the cause.
The Cougars return to action on Thursday with a makeup game from last week's rainout againt the Brownstown
Bombers at Kinmundy at 4:30 PM.
