2015 Fall Review

Tanner was invited to take part in the Houston Astro's pre-draft workout that was held at Minute Maid Park in Houston. There were about 45 future draft prospects on hand to showoff their skills and take in the surroundings of a big league atmosphere. Held just five days prior to the draft, each player was there in hopes of impressing the Astro's big brass that was on hand to evaluate them. Some of the notable ones in attendance were the team president, the general manager, the scouting director, the farm director, and future hall of famer Craig Biggio.

During the scrimmage portion of the workout, Tanner and all of the other pitchers were assigned to the bullpen. Then, one by one, they were called upon to warm up there before they made their appearance on the field. Tanner pitched one complete inning in which he recorded two strikeouts and a groundout.

Below are some of the pictures of Tanner and the surroundings at Minute Maid Park.

Leftfield

How many remember Albert Pujols' playoff home run off of Brad Lidge? It hit somewhere up there by the Citgo sign. That is a bomb!!!

Then he kicks and pitches.
