Cougars Wallop Patoka,
Up Record to 4-1
The Cougars banged out 14 hits and took advantage of some poor defensive play by the visiting Patoka
Warriors to post a 19-4 victory Tuesday afternoon at Kinmundy's Lions Field.
Five players collected at least two hits and Nick Simmons lead the way with his three singles and three
RBI's. Blake Lane, James Gile, Tyler Mulvany, and Tommy Daugherty all chipped in with two hits apiece and Spencer Patton stroked
a 2-run double.
Starting pitcher, Tanner Bushue, picked-up his second win of the season as he pitched 3 innings allowing
3 runs on 3 hits, 4 walks, and 2 strikeouts. Mulvany closed the game out by tossing the last two innings, allowing 1 run on
3 hits.
In a last-minute addition to the schedule, the Cougars are slated to host the Rams from Shelbyville on Wednesday
afternoon at 4:30.
